When you are pulling the turbo or exhaust manifold off a B47, the heat shields often take a beating. They can become brittle from thousands of heat cycles, warp, or crack around the mounting bolts. Leaving a compromised heat shield off your rebuild is asking for melted wiring and extreme under bonnet temperatures. We provide a solid, genuine OEM replacement so you can button up your engine bay properly.

This is a genuine BMW pressed metal exhaust manifold heat shield (OEM Stamp: WA0211), removed from a running B47 donor engine. It sits directly between the block and the hot exhaust manifold, protecting surrounding components from radiant heat.

Every heat shield we supply is checked on the bench. We inspect the metal for severe fatigue cracking around the bolt holes, check for structural warping, and ensure the exhaust port cutouts are clean. It’s a proper, salvaged deflector ready to do its job.
