When a 2.0 TDI turbo gives up the ghost, it usually means plumes of smoke, total loss of power, or a seized shaft. Throwing a cheap, unbranded aftermarket turbo at your block is a massive gamble that usually ends in a second rebuild a few months down the line. We stick to genuine, tested OEM metal so you can do the job once and do it right.

This is a genuine Volkswagen/Audi Group (VAG) turbocharger, manufactured by the premium OEM supplier KKK (BorgWarner). It carries the factory VAG part number 03L 145 701 D and is supplied exactly as pictured, a complete assembly including the exhaust/compressor housings and the attached electronic actuator unit.

Every turbo that hits our Coventry workbench goes through a strict visual and manual check. We inspect the compressor wheel for impact damage, manually test the internal shaft for excessive side to side play and ensure the cast iron exhaust housing is free from severe stress cracks. It’s a solid, heavy duty unit ready to be bolted straight up to your exhaust manifold.

Workshop Note: to guarantee longevity and protect your new turbo, we strongly advise fitting a brand new oil feed pipe and performing a complete oil and filter change during installation.
