Vibration dampers take an absolute beating on BMW diesel engines. When the rubber insert eventually perishes and splits, you’ll hear a nasty clatter, severe belt squeal, or feel heavy vibrations running right through the block. Buying a cheap aftermarket pulley is a false economy, they simply cannot handle the diesel torque and will tear themselves apart in months. We only supply genuine OEM metal.

This is a genuine second hand BMW crankshaft pulley (manufactured by OEM supplier Metaldyne, stamped SPN036817). We’ve pulled this directly from a running donor engine and inspected it closely on the workshop bench.

Crucially, we check the rubber dampening track to ensure there is no separation, heavy cracking, or structural failure. The auxiliary belt ribs are clean and undamaged. We even include the original four Torx mounting bolts so you aren’t forced to reuse stretched hardware or hunt around the workshop floor when it comes time to bolt it up.
